About the Author

Seamus Devitt has been an Irish Redemptorist since 1959 when he took his first vows. Apart from three years of ministry in the Diocese of Springfield, Mass., he has worked all his priesthood, since 1966, in Ireland, North and South. Currently he works in Limerick, as Chaplain to St. Clement’s Redemptorist College.

His other interests include painting and golfing and the open air.
