“Emptiful”

To have the hungering
ear
expectant
of the Word that
certainly will come,-
For why?- Why not?-
For Abba is my Father,
I his child
being trained and
disciplined/
discipled:
of course He will, in His
expected time,
speak to my life
in wondrous
whispered
ways
or surgings of surprise,-
what ways I care not
if I can but be
attending
on His time,
that moment mine
that He has stored
for me.
And He for us, for each
a torrent of His grace
prepared
if vessels of our hearts, our ears
are emptiful for Him.
