All flesh has become
Word
of Risen Lord within
among his people,
earth.
Read flesh today,
read people’s faces, eyes
as words from Him
to me,
to gathered us.
See joy, see pain,
see hunger’s tears
and loneliness,
see broken hearts and homes:
all these and all things more
that are, are flesh, are
real,
now show the face of God
to all of us: they are the ‘Sent’ of God:
The Word was flesh;
now Flesh- is Word, today.
