Does a fish earn the sea
or I the air I breathe,
that I or we should strive
for our salvation?
I have been saved,-
now breathe it into me,
now swim in it,
rising to the Light that
dawns above me,
breaking to my depths of
darkness.
Take light into my hands,
hold joy again,
-re-joice-
for I am born into the air I breath,
the water that holds and feeds me.
Re-Joy again,
for He who is mighty has done
this-
for me.
