Bread and Basin, Towel and Table ever for His followers entwined;
The Mystery of faith is wafer thin, and vast with the Wonder of the One Who Is,
__”Return Love for Love”__ is what he said to do. When all was said and done, this was his heart’s deep cry,- ‘return love, for love’.
The Spirit of the Leading Lord takes to the floor, begins the dance, casts off the mourning veil,
There is communion in His death, He with us within us, taking us.
Communion is a Longing of my life and loins:
Ordained, Ordered, In Order Towards—What? People, Celebration,
Gethsemane: “Abba! Father! “If”…..and…..”but”… The cry of soul-filled love and cry of terror sorrowed down to death,-
Who was it said that ‘Yes’?- ‘Not my will but yours be done!’? A man, a truly man, a truly God within the Trinity.
Obey like Him who did obey,- bent down the ear to all his Father willed,- to death
His passion and his dying were not some hiccup on the way to glory: His hour of Glory
The Cross was timber, yes but it was more. The Cross was Sin, our Sin -that was its core,
