The Rally Cry it is,
‘So that…’-
just those two words
that herald-waken me
-to what has gone before
-to what must follow on:
‘So that…’
is ringing in the belfry
of my soul
announcing joy for all
the city
and calling our attending, mine.
“God raised him high…”and gave that awe-filled Name
above all other names
SO THAT
my knee shall bend
and yours
and every knee in all creation bend
in total adoration;
my tongue proclaim
and yours
and every tongue and all
that Jesus
(emptied and obeying into death, our death, now His)
is DOMINUS and KURIOS
the Number One of All,
holds every thing and ‘one,-
is LORD !
He is. But is He mine? I wonder, and
He waits.
He is, but is He, yet?
