The Jubilee is Jesus, -Now.
For neither Time nor Space,
-the Then or There or Yesteryear-
affect the story of what IS,
is near, is here.
‘The kingdom is at hand! Repent!’
became, beyond his grave,
the Christ Event,-
He IS!
Jesus- ‘Yahweh saves’- is now.
His birth
is now:
His death for us
is now
Among, Within us, at the Father’s side
slain victim glorified
is now.
‘Repent!’ is no U-Turn
but Forward Leap,
a Yes of life
to Him who is His Father’s
Yes
and Life
to us.
To run and be embraced,
to hug and to receive this Jesus, Sent
is
Jubilee.
