“What have you done?” said He
to me
“with your anointing,-mine,
to you?”
I held my breath,
for, truth to tell,
that I had held His Breath
in me
in chains-
the chains of shame,-‘human’ respect it’s called-
that kept,-still keep- this
Breath of God
this Fire, given,
a prisoner behind silenced lips.
I felt their laughter, ridicule
and mocking
of my un-so-modern ways;
‘Who speaks of Christ today?’
-that very name that means
the Fire of God
Anointed and Anointing
with the Power, Life, Purpose,
Light and Heart
of the Breath-Love of God,-,
Who speaks? Who dares to speak
that Name
that scatters demons
when it’s spoken-heard?
I do. I did. No longer will I fear.
What will I do with my anointing? Speak!
